SUMMARY OF JOB: The Licensed Practical Nurse in Pre-op / PACU functions in all aspects of the nursing process within the scope of practice for an LPN in Pennsylvania. Responsibilities include facilitation, communication, intervention, education, planning and providing nursing care for patients, families and significant others, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The LPN acts as a patient advocate during the peri-operative experience. The LPN communicates with physicians and RN's about changes in patient's clinical condition, responding quickly and accurately to these changes.
RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of accredited Practical School of Nursing, licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Minimum of 2 years experience in critical care, Pre-op / PACU or Same Day Surgery.
BLS, ASCLS required. PALS for PACU preferred. Experience in an Ambulatory care setting preferred. IV certified.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
